The influence of stone properties on the surface temperature of diamond bit is also great. When drilling granite under the same conditions, the surface temperature of the drill bit is 2 times that of marble and 5 times that of sandstone. Coolant should be used in dry drilling to prevent serious wear of diamond bit. Sintered diamond should be brazed or laser welded. It can ensure the high temperature resistance of the welded joint, so that the diamond head will not fall off earlier.
